CURRENT OPEN POSITIONS

Account Representative

Houston, TX

Purpose: You will be responsible for servicing accounts while building customer relationships by supporting the sales team.  This may involve communication through our E-Commerce platform, phone calls, chat system, and email.

Responsibilities

  • Direct communication with our customers- Quoting and chatting with customers and communicating market information.
  • Customer Service- Timely responses to customer requests, order status updates.
  • Creating relationships with customers and other departments within Rolled Alloys- Credit, Inside Sales, Field Sales, Account Managers, Product Management, Scheduling, Metallurgical Services, Operations, and Quality Assurance teams.
  • The ability to communicate effectively through multiple platforms- Via email, through the website, and phone calls.
  • Efficiency with computers and relevant programs.
  • Being able to stay organized and flexible in stressful situations.

CNC Programmer

Temperance, MI

Purpose: To use a CAD program to draw and nest blanks for 2-D, CNC equipment (plasma, laser, waterjet) for maximized utilization of plate and sheet by choosing the best available based on established parameters.

Responsibilities

  • Attention to detail
  • Be able to read, interpret, and understand technical drawings and geometric dimensions and tolerance callouts.
  • Be computer literate and have the ability to draw parts in CAD applications.
  • Accurately draw/program customers’ engineering drawings for cutting machines
  • Be able to troubleshoot and problem-solve.
  • Using Sigmanest, nest multiple parts or orders to a plate or sheet to improve yield rates on nesting requirements and reduce lead times by cutting ahead and reducing handling in shop.
  • Review open order requirements and combine nests to improve yields
  • Reduce scrap.
  • Understand utilization and machine times so we have a target for continuous improvement.
  • Manage and set lead times.
  • Provide information relating to machine capacity.
  • Participate in production meetings to provide input on continuous process improvements.
  • Report SigmaNest issues with SigmaTek to Rolled Alloys designated liaison.
  • Work on continuous improvement.
  • Responsible for increasing the profitability of nested orders

Product Manager

Temperance, MI

Purpose: Successful candidate will be responsible for managing their assigned group of products.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for stainless steels to meet customer requirements and meet company profitability goals
  • Monitor market trends to anticipate changes in material costs and availability.
  • Coordinate with sales and facility managers to forecast material needs and schedules
  • Manage price pages to ensure pricing levels are competitive in the marketplace
  • Prepare quotes for our Sales and Business Development Departments for large inquiries
  • Continuously seek opportunities for process improvements
  • Build internal relationships with Credit, Inside Sales, Field Sales, Account Managers, Product Management, Scheduling, Metallurgical Services, Operations, and Quality Assurance teams.
 

Qualities We Seek

  • Bachelors degree in business administration, supply chain management, engineering or related field.
  • Analytical mindset with an ability to analyze data, identify trends and make  decisions.
  • Time management: capable of organizing, prioritizing, and planning independently.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Passion and enthusiasm for your work.
  • Willingness to travel up to15%

Richburg, SC
